A unique venue nestled in historic downtown Galveston, Texas is The Lyceum of Galveston Island - an elegant, mid 19th century Victorian-style chapel and meeting hall. With a total renovation, restoration and remodeling completed in summer of 2009, The Lyceum now takes its place as the Island's new premier venue for weddings, receptions, meetings, showers, luncheons, reunions, holiday parties, banquets, concerts, lectures, recitals and much more! The Lyceum features beautiful floor to ceiling stained glass, arched windows lining both sides of the Banquet Room, hardwood floors and an abundance of unmatched charm.
